Method:

  1. Buckwheat is cooked by using 1 c of grain to 3 c water and ½ t salt.
  2. Bring to boil and simmer gently until cooked, 20-30 minutes.
  3. One cup of buckwheat makes approximately 3 c of cooked grain.
  1. Blend first five ingredients.
  2. Pour into bowl and mix in cooked buckwheat and raisins or sultanas.
  3. Heat in oven until warmed through.
  4. Decorate with fresh fruit.

Variation:

  1. May use cooked brown rice or millet or any other grain instead of buckwheat.
