Ingredients:
- 2 onions, chopped
- 4 garlic cloves, minced
- Olive oil
- 1 c tomato paste
- 1 lrg can (800g) tomatoes
- 3 bay leaves
- 2 t basil
- ¼ t rosemary
- ¼ t thyme
- 1 c finely shredded carrots (optional)
- 1 t salt (optional)
Method:
- Sauté onion and garlic in oil or water.
- Add rest of ingredients and simmer for ½ hour.
